Our story

We were always the host.
Never the guest.

Shahané was created by two sisters raised around tea, rose, saffron, beauty, and hospitality, who later realized how many women know how to give care but rarely allow themselves to receive it.

A quiet receiving moment
Founded by

Two sisters rooted in Persian and Indian tradition.

Where it began

At the place where two cultures met.

We were raised between two worlds: our mother's Persian heritage and our father's Indian roots.

In both traditions, hospitality was not casual. It was sacred. Tea was offered the moment someone sat down. Rose water, saffron, sweets, warmth, and beauty were ways of saying, "You are welcome here."

We grew up watching the women around us create that feeling for everyone else. They remembered what people liked. They prepared. They hosted. They made people feel cared for, seen, and received.

What we began to notice

The women who gave the most were rarely the ones being received.

As we got older, we began to recognize that same pattern in ourselves and in the women around us. We were giving, carrying, remembering, preparing, and holding space, while quietly losing touch with what it felt like to be held.

Why we created Shahané

We wanted to bring back the art of receiving.

Not in a way that asks women to do more.

Not as another routine to manage, another habit to track, or another version of self care that becomes one more responsibility.

We wanted to create something already prepared. Something gentle. Something beautiful. A moment a woman could open, step into, and receive.

The practice

Tea, rose, saffron, reflection, and quiet return.

What we believe

Receiving is not indulgence. It is restoration.

01

The guest is sacred

In the traditions we come from, to receive someone is an honor. Shahané invites women to offer themselves that same honor.

02

Beauty can soften the body

Tea, scent, paper, color, and warmth are not extras. They are small doorways back into presence.

03

You are allowed to receive

You do not have to wait until everything is done. You do not have to earn a pause. You are allowed to be cared for now.

A shared moment

Your Bloom is yours,
but you are not doing this alone.

Across homes, mornings, evenings, and quiet corners, other women are opening the same pause. Writing. Sipping. Breathing. Receiving. Returning.

Begin with one prepared moment

Today, let yourself be the guest.

Begin with a moment already prepared for you.
